I think Armageddon may turn out to be a long drawn-out event that happens (is happening) so gradually we'll find we're fscked when it's too late.

Agreed Al, I mean the Frog is (and has been) set to low boil for some time now. How else could an administration so corrupt as the current Fed get away with passing Obama Care in lieu of it having been even been read prior to voting, Eric Holder playing the Iran Contra fiddle regarding the gun runner and murder scandal, rampant election fraud that is just now being brought to light from 2008 etc.
We could literally cite thousands of examples with regard to the elevated levels of corruption that exist today that simply would not have been tolerated by Americans in decades past, but here we are.
That moment of realization has passed IMHO. We better get this Nation turned around and headed back the other way fast before it sinks.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to head over to the club, it's seafood luncheon today followed by a card game with some ruthless crooked ponies and an endless supply of scotch and soda with a nice twist on tap for the afternoon.
I'll be sure and yell obscenities and verbal insults at any poor and disadvantaged citizens I see while I make my way over.
