Today may or may not be the blogger day of silence. I don't know. None of the articles about it ever actually say when it is. And it's not a day of total silence. As Stacy McCain so bravely puts it....from an undisclosed location...but still brave... "every blogger participating in this protest...will write one post about the Day of Silence and nothing else all day." YEAH!!! F*CK YEAH!!!! That'll show whomever it is that you're standing up to from an undisclosed location that you'll never back down or shut up about being intimidated!!!!!!

Sigh. For the love of candied apples and cheerleader a$$. You don't get what you want by shutting up about it. You have to be able to effectively communicate your ideas to your audience in order to affect change.

But let's back up. What the fudge is this all about? Let me make it simple for those of you who could give a flying fudge.

Brett Kimberlin is bad. Some blogger wrote about Brett Kimberlin being bad. That blogger made people upset by stating the facts. Now one blogger is in jail, another is in hiding and a bunch of others have sore internet butts. Sound familiar? To me it does. I went through the same thing from October to December. Except I was writing about the Lefts insane tactics in Wisconsin. Oh, and I got my antagonizer fired from his newspaper gig. And I got his cohort under investigation from the feds. All from the comfort of my own home. See how that works?

I don't know why these guys just aren't dealing with this. It's like they're newbies on the net or something. You know who dealt with this crap kinda' cool? BigFurHat. He'd just 'out' his antagonists (who for some reason always seemed to be schoolteachers) and that was that. Why that worked, I have no idea, but it's a bit more proactive than uprooting your family for no discernible reason.

You know who else knows how to deal with crap like this?

Scott Walker. You know, the guy who gets death threats every fuggin' day but still manages to find his way to work.
