Many theories abound as to whom was ultimately responsible for Roger's misfortune, but it's time the truth was told. After spending the vast majority of his personal wealth campaigning and subsequently losing miserably to George Bush in the 1988 POTUS election, Michael Dukakis went off the deep end plotting and scheming against those he felt were responsible for his political failures.
Poor Roger was just one of many who fell victim to Dukakis and his evil ways.

My recommendation regarding offshore holdings at this point and for the next couple years at a minimum would be to liquidate into gold as quickly as possible, with a strong preference given to the one ounce Krugerrand for ease of transacting worldwide.

Fesmith has it right on all counts. I'll just add that you really really want to have physical possession of those Krugerrands and not stash them in some safe deposit box. Those will be sealed tighter than a nun's vulva just before the feddle govt declares martial law because of all the tax evasion and wealth hoarding.
