My personal fave.
My personal fave.
Yep, the American dream.
“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
Though I suppose some of the early 20th Century immigrants were just WWI draft dodgers.
And/or opium smugglers.
What? Being a huddled mass is tough. Someone has to alliveiate their suffering.
Opium is a sure-fire alleviator of suffering. On opium, all your troubles simply disappear.
Of course, the next morning all those troubles are back, plus the opium hangover.
But, Hey! That just calls for more opium!

"The historical reality of the Second Amendment's protection of the right to keep and bear arms is not that it protects the right to shoot deer. It protects the right to shoot tyrants..." -- Andrew Napolitano
I see you're finally beginning to embrace our business model.
Anyway, more words of wisdom...or possibly the single greatest instance of CYA in human political history.
Great speech. I wonder if MSNBC will ever invite Artur Davis back.
They should bring back Nanny & the Professor.
