Hah! Try me. Go to 16:58 where he says, "...in the early years of this new century, we lived in an uncertain time. But we did not allow fear to cause us to abandon what made us special. We chose more govt instead of more freedom. We chose the principles of our founding to solve the challenges of our time. We chose a special man to lead us..."

    Freudian slip, much?

I doubt it's Freudian in nature. He mixed metaphors. But I mean the whole speech. I'm not going to nit pick every freaking syllable.

It's not a freaking syllable. In a very important part of his speech, he got it utterly backwards from what I'm sure - and you should be sure, too - he was supposed to say.

Don't forget that Willard's running mate voted to make the USA PATRIOT Act permanent, and for TARP, and for lots of other nasty things that only a moron would fail to recognize as MORE GOVT. And Rubio is no moron.

You're not even voting, what do you care? Besides. You think the only good president is a dead president. Which makes we wonder about your true motives for backing Dr. Batman so hard. You didn't hear a word Rubio said. You just looked for things to dislike. I bet you eat lemon peel and vinegar for breakfast and spank the neighbors dog with a rolled up newspaper when no one is looking.

I'm not voting but that doesn't mean I don't care. Aside from the purely emotional appeal of seeing America scrape 0 off the sole of its shoe this November, there's the smug self-righteousness I expect to enjoy as the Willard and Paul comedy team take turns doing prat falls before their adoring supporters. I support Ron Paul for his educational pursuits, namely trying to get more Americans to pull their heads out of their excretory orifices and take a look at just what evil has befallen us over the last century or more and how far away from the initial American ideal of liberty they've been led.

Although not voluntarily (I was trapped in a room with the speech playing on a device over which I had no control), I did happen to listen to Rubio's address. I would have committed suicide had it not been for the felicitous fact that he was frequently funny. And I don't mean accidentally funny, he actually put a few jokes in his speech, and they weren't bad.

In other news, this morning I had a desayuno de chilaquiles y huevos revueltos con salchicha, todo cubierta con salsa Habanera and a pint of black coffee. And the neighbors don't have a dog, they have a cat who knows how to defend itself, so no spanking.

So you admit that you chased a cat around with a rolled up newspaper before retreating due to it's superior personal combat techniques.

Also, you had the same breakfast as Castro.
