So we have this amazing thing called the 2nd amendment to the US Constitution allowing for a mere 311 million people or so to own the tools needed to make sure none of those things ever happen.

Think about it, they can make whatever laws they wish to suit their needs but say half the population at 150 million say no way pal at the end of rifle barrel who's going to argue the point? Yea, no one's trumping that deck of cards.
