Short and sweet? The deal was that 30 people plus the ambassador were going to get kidnapped by some crazy islamic bastards in Benghazi. That way obama working with Morsi and the muslim brotherhood could strike a deal. End result? Egypt gets the blind sheik back, Morsi becomes super president. obama gets to negotiate for the release of 30 Americans on 9/11, becomes super president. Proves not all crazy islamic bastards are alike, takes opportunity to forge the kind of alliance that allows our nations to work closer with regional coalition partners on the ground...blah blah blah.
Why else would you watch the live feed and directly order 2 SEALS, 2 DELTA teams, 1 AC-130 gunship and various other to stand down. Repeatedly. It's because it went wrong when the embassy fought back. They had reduced security. They had already been attacked and had their defenses tested in June. It went wrong when they fought back and went from bad to worse when Tyrone Woods showed up against orders.
So obama watched the live feed until it looked like America might win and then he changed the channel.
His thinking? "You all had the chance to end this peacefully and surrender. Now that you've defended yourselves, I can't help you."
So he ate breakfast, listened to his security briefing, discovered 30 people escaped while only 4 were dead and flew to Vegas. All while blaming some video one of his super PAC donors made.
That's fuggin' crazy talk, right?

Obama knew. He lied. He got Tyrone Woods and 4 others, one of who was a U.S. ambassador, killed. He then lied about all of it.
